Konnichiwa, Tanuki-san!

This is a Tanuki, my second favorite mythical creature in Japanese folklore. There is a real Tanuki in the wild that is also dubbed the "Raccoon Dog" that this one was based off of. Almost everything on the Tanuki has a special purpose, but the one I left out was the large testicles that the Tanuki are known for. It symbolizes fertility and financial luck. Also, the Tanuki can stretch their "blobs" to amazing sizes for basically anything; catching fish, sleeping, and especially mauling their enemies. Finally, the Tanuki can shape shift into anything they please, if they try hard enough, and can even disguise themselves as humans. The kanji on the bottle means "Virtue"

P.S. The Tanuki is seen colored in many different ways, but I sort of mixed the colors of a real Tanuki with the way most of the statues are colored.
